Computers and technology continue to develop to assist and improve how we interact with our environment; new ways of accomplishing a task or engaging in an activity become possible. Since information technology is prevalent when doing work-related activities it has a key role in productivity and efficiency. As seen in educational settings, using information technology in a classroom allows for students to “view themselves as partners in the process of inquiry and discovery”. Technology provides society with something that is more than a cloud for the storage of information.

Such a cloud can act as a medium that can facilitate communication and collaboration between workers, students, or any group that is working to achieve a single goal. By allowing the exchange of information and the ability to interact with it the technology of cloud computing has an impact that reaches beyond the information it contains. With cloud technology finding its place in many fields people are discovering and improving on many ideas.
